One of the things I dreamed about when creating Maeve Lane Cinema Club was building a community that felt just as special as the movies we all grew up loving. Our second event reminded me exactly why we started.

This month, we transformed movie night into a sold-out evening celebrating The Parent Trap. Guests gathered before the film to shop an exclusive pop-up featuring canvases, project bags, needle minders, and our brand-new Parent Trap Collection, with attendees receiving the very first opportunity to shop the collection’s  designs before its public launch.

Every guest also received an exclusive Parent Trap-themed needlepoint canvas, complete with everything they needed to start stitching during the movie, making the experience welcoming for both longtime stitchers and complete beginners.

What makes Cinema Club so special isn’t just the movie or the canvas. It’s watching a room full of strangers instantly become friends over a shared love of creativity. Throughout the evening, guests stitched together, shopped, laughed, and enjoyed one of the most nostalgic movies ever made.

Seeing another sold-out theater filled with familiar faces and so many first-time attendees reminded me that this community is growing into something bigger than I ever imagined.
